Nuriel The Angel of Death
Medium celestial, chaotic neutral
Saving Throws Strength 15, Dexterity +15, Constitution +15, Intelligence +15, Wisdom +15, Charisma +10
Aura of Death. Any hostile creature starting their turn within 30 feet of Nuriel, The Angel of Death, must make a Constitution Saving through DC 27 or take 10d10 Necrotic Damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one. Targets that fail the save also become poisoned, and cannot resist this effect with immunities or resistances (Not applied to construct enemies, and enemies that are made out of non organic material (DM discretion).
Legendary Resistances (3)Day. If Nuriel would fail a saving throw, they can choose to instead to pass instead.
Curse of Death. Necrotic damage dealt by Nuriel bypass all immunities and resistances to said damage. This also applies for poisoned trait. If a creatures Hit Points reach zero from Necrotic damage dealt by Nuriel, that creature dies instantly. Necrotic damage dealt this way also lowers the maximum Hit Points of a creature, and that creature cannot regain those Hit Points until the use of a long rest.
Magic Resistant. Nuriel has advantage on all saving throws against magic, and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons, Attacks made with Nuriel's scythe are magical for the purposes of bypassing immunity to non magical attacks.
Master of Undeath, Nuriel has the ability to maintain over any countless amount of undead creatures that they have animated themselves through varies means. These creatures do not require and upkeep to maintain, and do not require Nuriel to reassert control over said creatures.
Nuriel's Will. Undead under the control of Nuriel are immune to manipulation that would cause them to either flee, or reign control from Nuriel.
Divine Awareness Nuriel knows when they hear a lie.
Innate Spellcasting. Nuriel can innately cast these spells (Save DC 27, +25 to hit):
At Will: Animate Dead, Speak with Undead, Resurrect
3/Day Each: Finger of Death, Circle of Death, Create Undead
1/Day Each: True Resurrect, Power Word Kill
Multiattack Nuriel makes up to four attacks. Only one of which can be a Drain Life attack.
Blackheart. Melee Weapon Attack: +25 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (4d8 + 10) Slashing damage + 30 (5d10) Necrotic Damage. Nuriel uses their scythe to slash at a target.
Drain Life. Melee Weapon Attack: +25 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (5d10). Nuriel reaches out and touches a single target dealing Necrotic damage. Nuriel then regains Hit Points equal to the damage done. Nuriel can only uses this ability once per turn
Blight Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +25 to hit, reach 75 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (5d10), + another 30 (5d10) if the target is poisoned
The can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Attack. Nuriel makes an attack with Blackheart. If they land the attack, they can choose to move up to half of their movement speed rounded down, not triggering attacks of opportunity. Uses one Legendary Reaction
Regenerate. Nuriel regenerates 75 Hit Points, then if they have less then 400 Hit Points, they can regenerate another 75 Hit Points. Uses two Legendary Reactions
Raise Dead. Nuriel Raises X (1D4+3) Undead minions of Cr rating 3 or less. Uses Three Legendary Reactions.
