Silent Hunter. The nightgaunt is absolutely silent and makes no noise unless it wants to. While flying it has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

Multiattack. The nightgaunt makes two attacks: one with its claws and one with its tickle attack.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack. +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d10 + 3) slashing damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 15). If the target is Medium or smaller, it is also restrained until this grapple ends. While grappling the target, the nightgaunt has advantage on attack rolls against it and can't use this attack against other targets. When the nightgaunt moves, any Medium or smaller target it is grappling moves with it.

Tickle. Melee Weapon Attack. +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target grappled by the nightgaunt. Hit: 9 (2d8) psychic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become paralyzed. At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another saving throw, ending the effect on a success.

Nightgaunts are tall humanoids with dark grey skin and bat-like wings. Their face is just flat, lacking nose, eyes or mouth. It is said that nightgaunts roam the skies looking for children or elderly to abduct as food for their family. Some nightgaunts are the servants of Nodens, Elder God and Lord of the Great Abyss.
