Making a Companion
Abilities: Strength, and Consitution.
Races: typically any monsterious, beast, or monsterous humanoid.
Alignment: Shared of that of their rider.
Starting Gold: 6d10 * 10 gp (330 gp).
Starting Age: Simple.

Class Skills (6 + Int modifier per level, ×4 at 1st level)
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: No weapons. All armor, except shields.
Bond - The Mount and rider can speak with each other though a telepathic link. Also the Companion Knows where her rider is, and the rider's condition at all times.
Aid Bond - as a swift action the Companion can assist its rider in dodging attacks. +2 to Rider AC.
Natural armor - the companion gains additional natural armor as she levels.
Steadfast Determination - use Constitution modifier instead of Wisdom for Fortitude saves
Able Dodger - Because the rider relies on the Companion to dodge away from magical attacks, the Companion gains a +2 to reflex saves.
Healing Bond - The Companion can heal its rider an amount equal to HD * Con mod /a day.
Combat Bond - The Companion can inspire her rider, increasing his attack. +2 to attack 5/day
Protective Bond - The Companion gets a +5 bonus to its attack and damage if her rider has fallen. (unconscious or dying)
Life Bond - While mounted on the Mount the Rider can negate damage, points negated is (Mount level * con bonus) + (Rider level * Con bonus) a day.
Playing a Mount
Religion: Typically what their riders religion is.
Other Classes: Works well with all classes.
Combat: The trusty mount, and loyal companion.
