Potion, rare This potion has a sun and moon motif on the bottle, and is filled with shimmering purple fluid. When you drink this potion, you can choose either to expend spell slots to regain hit points or to expend hit dice to regain spell slots. This potion has no effect on a creature without spell slots. Expending Spell Slots to Regain Hit Points. You can expend up to any amount of spell slots, regaining 1d10 hit points for each expended slot level. Expending Hit Dice to Regain Spell Slots. You can expend up to any amount of hit dice (as if you were regaining hit points), rolling and adding each to a total. You can then spend hit points from the total to recover spell slots according to the table below. Any unspent hit points are wasted.
