left character was by an artist I commissioned on Insta called Decapittar & the right is an artist i commissioned on Animo, I cannot find their profile.

History[edit]

Mirage’s are children of the Trickster god, Vera. Vera was neglected when the gods created the world, she was never allowed to have a decision in the creation so she decided to create a race of tricks and chaos. They weren’t made to cause harm, only to shake up the world and add her own design into the world, a reminder to never forget her.

Society[edit]

Mirage’s aren’t really welcomed in towns or cities that aren’t their own because of them being made by the Trickster god and usually thought of being scammers or only there to cause a mess of the place. Mirages have their own towns and cities with abnormal looking buildings or buildings that shouldn’t physically be possible such as a small building on the outside but, being a mansion on the inside, floating houses, optical illusions.

Mirage Names[edit]

Mirage's names are quite odd, and they don’t care for gender when naming. Examples: Malevogaru, Cryoranda, Gargantax, Venlus.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Trickster Love. You are proficient in the Deception skill.
Illusional Fun!. You know the minor illusion cantrip. Visual illusions you create with this cantrip through this trait can be physically felt as solid, but are incapable of dealing damage and also have no weight.
Multi Eye. You can manifest numerous functional eyes, and you are capable of creating a total of four extra eyes. Manifesting a single pair of eyes takes an action. You do not gain any benefits from these extra eyes.
Superior Mage Hand. You know the mage hand cantrip. Due to your magically heightened body, when you cast this cantrip through this trait, you can manifest two hands, instead of one. All the usual restrictions of the spell apply.
Static Image. As an action, you can make a static image of yourself within 30 feet of you in an unoccupied space that you can see. This static image has 1 hit point. You can dispel this image as a bonus action. While this image is active, you can use your reaction to teleport to the space occupied by your static image. This dispels the image immediately. You must be within 30 feet of the image in order to teleport to it. If you go more than 50 feet away from this image, it is immediately dispelled. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all use when you finish a long rest.
Languages. You know Common, Deep Speech, and one other language of your choice.
