Rule of Mercy[edit]

Mercy is a variant support rule. Each player gets a single use of "Mercy" per Session. A player can call a 'Mercy' roll and they can choose to reroll any d20 roll that they or another player has rolled. When this roll is used, the player who called Mercy must roll until they beat the number that was on the original die before the reroll.

This rule is most helpful when used to get rid of a low roll that may be critical and should be used carefully.

This can also be used against a hostile creature to make them reroll a d20 dice for an attack roll, using the feature in this manner will have the opposite effect for the creature. They must roll until their reroll is lower than the original number on the die when 'Mercy' was called.
