Maroween[edit]

Light Armor

-Classified as Armor and Magical Item-

Maroween can be in mutiple forms the most common though is called Weave or Woven Mix, this is most common since it’s usually made custom for a specific person. Other forms are “Padding” where you have small amounts of it to act as a barrier (if padding is the one you have AC is reduced to 12 with no bonus), “Plating” where it’s basically like leather armor (if plating is the one you have AC is 14 with no bonus), and “Chaining” where it’s basically like chain mail (if chaining is the one you have AC is 14 with a bonus of +1 if your Dex modifier is three or higher and you have disadvantage against piercing unless you have other armor to help with that).

Maroween is made by using seaweed, sea shells, and pearls. The basic version has plain white or cream pearls, kelp, and bivalve shells. If using other materials you can gain extra benefits based on the materials and combination. The Weave or Woven Mix type kinda seems invisible like and goes easily over clothes looking like it’s part of the clothes, hence the name and being called invisible like. Originally the first Maroween was created by a Siren Queen, Maroween can only be forged if siren blood run through your veins, wether it be a full siren or a half-siren. If strong enough with their siren magic and nature sometimes even third-sirens or fourth-sirens can forge it, though it tends to be more breakable.

Already stated the first requirement to forge Maroween, the others are proficiency with Harmonic Aqua Tools, and Melody Writers.

Quality can be improved if you have another proficiency based on the type: Padding is proficiency with leatherworker’s tools, Chaining and Plating is proficiency with smith’s tools, and Weave is proficiency with weaver’s tools.

Changing Materials Example: Only changing the pearl: if you use a black pearl instead you can add half your proficiency bonus to stealth as well, nothing else changes so you would have advantage and half proficiency (if you have proficiency in stealth you would add proficiency + half proficiency).
