Margons are craven cowards created by magic who act like they're much bigger and stronger than they actually are. A margon's body is essentially humanoid, but stunted and their pallid skin is covered in rough scales. Because the magic required to create a margon is so simple, they're usually only created by novice mages eager to have someone else to punch down on, as any stronger mage would rather have a more powerful servant instead. Just about the only reason to create a margon is because they are magically compelled to obey each and every command given to them by their masters, without even the slightest bit of free will, not that they could ever muster enough courage to defy their master. They hate their masters more than anything else, but because they can't do anything against them, the margons lash out against whatever catches their ire in the moment instead. The margon's ire is so incredible that it even manifests as a curse that the margon can use against its enemies.
