Maimtar are muscular humanoids. They usually have a Human-like appearance, they however only have black hair. Their eyes are typical human colors and their faces are angular and symmetrical. However the main difference between them and Humans, is their tail, it is a thick muscular fur covered tail, and much like a monkey, they are typically able to move their tail like an appendage. They have Five fingers and five toes, and some have pointed ears like an elf. Often along the frontlines of conflicts across the land, their lust for battle is unquenchable, and their strength is unmatched when stacked against foes of similar size.

History[edit]

The Maimtar are believed to hail from a plane thick with jungle where peace is a foreign concept and the battle for survival is constant and unending. The plane they come from possesses gravity 10x that of the material plane, and as such their movements are extremely quick for their size. Their tail, while certainly out of place, is an evolutionary advantage, believed to have developed from living in the vast jungles in the wilds of their home plane. Their tail does not impede in their movement but actually assist with it as they are natural climbers. Maimtar were historically a warrior race, with very few becoming mages, and the few that did were not very proficient in it. The Maimtar conquered land as they arrived in the material plane, and their natural gifts allowed for them to carve out a large area for their civilization to develop. Most Maimtar leave to become mercenary's or wandering adventurers in order to live a life of battle and intrigue.

Society[edit]

Maimtar societies are organized into groups. The Warriors are at the bottom of society, they seemingly only have a talent for battle, and even the weakest Warrior child is stronger than most adult humans. The Talents are the middle class of society, they make up the Military officers, Tradesman, Artists as well as scientists, scholars and Artificers. The Elite the second highest class in society, Elites are born naturally stronger than others, and as such are the ruling class just below the King, They can have anything they desire simply because they are strong enough to take it. The King is the Highest tier of their society, it is determined by the strongest Elite class born during an eclipse. Everyone's business is public in one way or another. Maimtar don't typically see much meaning in life other than fighting, it is rare for one to be passive or ever not interested in fighting.

Maimtar Names[edit]
