This page is of questionable balance. Reason: So the winged black subrace creates offspring? Are these controlled by the player or something? What stats do those have? The "line-of-sight" seeing is strange also. So you can literally only see in a straight line as drawn from a map?

Latex Beast[edit]
A humanoid race which is known for the number of types there are of it, Latex Beasts are heavily territorial beings that form in tribes which consist of only their subraces, occasionally, you have the one or two members who leave and adapt to the outside world, their signature trait is their latex-like body which allows them to fit in places which most others couldn’t.
Physical Description[edit]
Latex Beasts have animalistic features which usually depend on the type, this can range from humanoid wolves to humans sharks with black stripes, the universal truth is however is that they all adopt a humanoid appearance and clearly have latex-like parts. It has been documented though that these features generally assist with their surroundings or make up for physical traits they’ve lost.

History[edit]
Latex Beasts come from a science experiment conducted by some humans to attempt to do something which has never been documented. However said experiment failed and the liquid beasts spread throughout the lands, adapting to their surroundings. After this we have 5 different paths of history, one for each split. But for now let’s stick with general history: Some speculate that these life-forms, were changed from single-celled organisms due to several experiments one such rumor which is the most popular of them all was an insertion of animal DNA which caused animalistic features. After these now-humanoids escaped they found themselves in the real world and took over land, forcing the original inhabitants to leave said land, the creatures, once they chose their land were satisfied with the size, they started to only live in said land, causing various differences in not only animalistic features now but physical traits. As of recent though, there have been reports that some of these creatures have started leaving their respective territories to explore the outer world.
Society[edit]
Latex beasts form territorial tribes which consists of observably similar and if not, almost identical members of their race physical traits wise, these groups all seem to share the same base group though, with diversity only being caused by random mutation. Latex beast’s territory should never be entered without extreme caution as they immediately attack and try their best to kill any creature which enters their territory, especially including members of other tribes of this race. As of recent due to some of these creatures coming out of their territory to explore the outside world, they seem to now be entirely rejected by their original tribes, even being considered outsiders now. Due to this past dependence on others in their tribe, these outcasts will usually either take years to do an activity to become independent, or stick with others so as to keep things familiar to themselves, ditching their territorial behavior.

Latex Beast Traits[edit]
A race of latex monsters.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2.
Age. As nobody has seen one die of old age, it is assumed that they are immortal.
Alignment. They tend towards neutral alignments.
Size. You are slightly taller than humans, your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Latex Body. You are able to compress your body to the point where you can fit into anything a tiny creature can.
Keen Hearing and Smell. Due to an animalistic heightened sense of sound and smell, they have advantage on Wisdom(Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Languages. You can only speak Common and the race exclusive language Latex.
Subrace. As latex beasts have some diversity, you can encounter many different types with unique aspects.
Black[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your strength score increases by 1.
Crystallization. If killed instantly or during deathsaves, you can make almost all of your body perish. Instantly killing you. A remnant of your body left; your mask, stays behind and becomes a crystal. Exactly one week after this feature is used, 1d4 offspring of the same race are born from the crystal.
Bad Eyesight. Your eyes are worse than others of your race, You have disadvantage on Perception tests..
Powerful Build. Your innate strength and physical prowess allows you to count as one size larger when carrying weight, pushing, and dragging.
White[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your wisdom score increases by 1.
False Appearance. While the beast is not moving, it appears to be a mound of snow.
Blindness. You lose your ability to use one of your five senses: sight, as a result though, you now gain proficiency in perception due to the rest of your senses being naturally increased to make up for your lack of vision. You also now have 60 feet in blindsight
Blindsight. You can perceive your surroundings without relying on sight, within a radius of 60 feet.
Squid Dog[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your charisma score increases by 1.
Tentacles. You have four prehensile tentacles that can be used to carry objects, these extend from your back.
Adept Swimmer. Even though you cannot breath underwater, your natural inclination to swim gives you a swim speed of 40 feet.
Winged Black[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your dexterity score increases by 1.
Flight. Your form has wings, and you gain a flight speed of 30 feet.
Crystallization. If you die instantly or during a death save test your corpse leaves behind a crystal, as long as the crystal remains complete after a week you can be reborn (should not be considered as a descendant).
Dexterous Flyer. Due to your quick speed and aptitude in flight, you gain +1 AC while flying or midair.
Bad Eyesight. Your eyes are worse than others of your race, You have disadvantage on Perception tests.
Tiger Shark[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your dexterity score increases by 1.
Natural Swimmer. Your base walking speed decreases to 20 feet, but your base however you gain a base swim speed of 60 feet.
Gills. Even though you cannot breath underwater, your natural inclination to swim gives you a swim speed of 40 feet.
Overpowering Presence. Due to your shark-like appearance, you gain proficiency in Intimidation rolls.
Independent Black (Based on Puro)[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your intelligence score increases by 1.
Literacy. Due to reading books you now know how to read and write, this allows you to read and write in common as latex does not have a written form.
Low Durability. You lack durability. In exchange for this it you now high dexterity, your +2 to constitution is replaced with a +2 to dexterity.

Independent White (based on Dr. K)[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your wisdom score increases by 1.
Research. Due to your studious tendencies, you are able to learn an additional language and have proficiency in history skill checks.
Reduced Senses. You lose your advantage in perception checks.
False Appearance. While the beast is not moving, it appears to be a mound of snow.
