Kyodaigumo (Shinobi World Supplement)

This creature was created as part of the Player Equivalent CR variant rule using the Naruto: Shinobi (5e Class) class and Genin (5e Background) background, and as such does not follow traditional CR.

Kyodaigumo

Huge beast, unaligned Armor Class 19 (Natural Armor) Hit Points 63 (14d8) Speed 60 ft., climb 60 ft. STR DEX CON INT WIS CHA 10 (+0) 20 (+5) 10 (+0) 10 (+0) 16 (+3) 8 (-1) Saving Throws Int +4, Wis +7 Skills Animal Handling +7, Medicine +7, Perception +7, Stealth +9 Senses passive Perception 17 Languages Common Challenge 10 (5,900 XP) Chakra. Kyodaigumo has 25 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest. Evasion. When Kyodaigumo is targeted by an area effect that lets him make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, such as fireball, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if he fails the save. Ninja Speed. Kyodaigumo can take the dash, dodge, and disengage actions as a bonus action, and can move along vertical surfaces. ACTIONS Multiattack. Kyodaigumo makes 2 attacks with his bite or produce webbing attacks. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d4 + 5) magical piercing damage. Produce Webbing (5 Chakra). Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 15 ft., one target. Hit: they become restrained by webbing, which has an AC of 18 and 35 hit points. This can only be used while Second Stage is active. Airtight Cocoon (5 Chakra). While a creature within 15 ft. is under the effects of Produce Webbing, the target can not attack their own cocoon and they have full cover, and the cocoon gains 35 hit points. As a bonus action while this is active, Kyodaigumo may deal 12 (2d6 + 5) magical bludgeoning to the target. Rain of Spiders (10 Chakra). Kyodaigumo releases a sack of spiders on one creature within 15 feet. The swarm has 100 hit points, and the target's movement speed drops to 0. At the beginning of Kyodaigumo's next turn, if the swarm is not reduced to 0 hit points and the target has not moved, they become paralyzed for 1 minute, they take 16 (2d10 + 5) poison damage, Kyodaigumo may crush them as per Airtight Cucoon, and the swarm regains its maximum hit points. REACTIONS Armor of Sticky Gold (5 Chakra). When Kyodaigumo is targeted by an attack, he gains a +2 bonus to his AC, but his movement speed is decreased by 15 for 1 minute. Kyodaigumo may end this effect early as a bonus action, regaining 1 chakra point.

[Source]. Kyodaigumo is the last of a species of giant tarantulas-like spiders. During the Warring States Era, his kind and their masters, the Kidomaru clan, dominated the small nations north of the Land of Fire, so much so that numerous smaller clans bounded together, butchering most of the clan and their summons in a single night.
