One of the last survivors from the destroyed planet Krypton. Krypton was a great civilization, filled of super intelligent lifeforms, whose super power talents were suppressed under their Red Sun. However their planet's ecosystem and very core was self-destructive. Realizing this many fought against their taboo's of leaving their home planet. Only some escaped, coming to other planets with high intellect and new forming powers.


Most Kryptonians don't truly associate with other species. however it may be noted that they do empathize when raised by other species.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Kryptonian:


At 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level, the Kryptonian selects a talent from the following talent trees. Some trees have a set order that must be followed, while others provide a list to choose from. As long as the hero qualifies, they can select freely from any and all talent trees. No talent can be selected more than once unless expressly indicated.

Human Talent Tree[edit]

Secret Identity[edit]

The Kryptonian has a double life. Sometimes he lives an normal live among humans. Sometimes he is a superhero! Nobody knows who the kryptonian is!

Benefit. The human alter ego reputation is 4 lower than class level. The superhero identity has normal reputation.

The Big Secret[edit]

The Kryptonian becomes better at disguising themself as another species, and at protecting their secret identity.

Disguise check bonus: Kryptonian Hero levels/2

National Hero[edit]

After many heroic acts, the Public deeply respects the Kryptonian Rep + 2.

Super Power Talent Tree[edit]

The Kryptonian has begun to awaken their superpowers. Each Super Power Talent adds one power to his power list.

Talent:Ultra-Vision The Kryptonian gains the power super vision. Benefit: The Kryptonian gains half his Kryptonian levels to spot check. The Kryptonian can see 10 times normal vision range. Dark Vision The Kryptonian gains dark-vision with a range of 120 feet.

Talent: X-Vision

The Kryptonian Hero gain the X-vision.

  • He can see through solid objects.
To use this Talent the Hero must take a full round action
that provokes an Attack Of Opportunity to make a spot check 20 + the objects hardness. 
  • He can see in perfect 3D.
  • Sight from 3rd person perspective.
  • He can see in perfect depth perception.

Talent: Plasma Vision The Kryptonian can shoot plasma from his eyes. at any target he can see. Damage:3D6

Talent:Heat Vision The Kryptonian can see temperatures and their allocation.

Talent:Warmth Vision The Kryptonian can project heat from his eyes at any target he can see. You can thaw frozen objects and protect others from cold damage. Damage:none.

Talent: Melting Vision The Kryptonian can melt or cause damage with his Heat Vision. Requires: Heat Vision. Damage:2d6.

Talent Cold vision The Kryptonian can shoot beams that remove heat from his eyes at any target he can see. Damage 2d6.

Force Field Talent Tree[edit]

The Kryptonian has an natural energy field emanating through its body. The Sun and the gravity of Earth allows the Kryptonian to use this field for different effects.


The Kryptonian Learns to use his force field to ignore gravity and fly. Kryptonians cannot exit the atmosphere without space suits and oxygen masks.

Benefit: Horizontal Flight 100 yards per turn. Vertical Flight 20 meters per turn.

Talent:Force Shield

A huge glowing symbol appears on the characters chest! Usually an "S". The Kryptonian's natural energy field can now be used to create an aura of near invulnerability. This protects a thin layer of clothes or a space suit from being shred. Benefit: Damage Reduction; -5/Kryptonite. Defence bonus +4.

Talent: Strong Force Shield

The Kryptonians natural energy field can now be used to create a stronger aura of near invulnerability.

Benefit: Damage Reduction; -10/Kryptonite. Defense bonus +4. Does not stack with Force Shield. Requires:Force Shield.

Talent: Invulnerable Force Shield

The Kryptonians natural energy field now achieves invulnerability.

Benefit: Damage Reduction; -15/Kryptonite. Defense bonus +10. Does not stack. Requires:Strong Force Shield.

Turn Off Powers The Kryptonian can turn off his powers. Allowing him to cut his hair or allow surgeries.

Transforming Appearance' The Kryptonian can transform into a muscular superhero or skinny normal human. This creates a suit from his force shield and changing his appearance slightly. A energetic halo surrounds his body with glow blurring his features. Eye color, hair color, skin color become blurred. Requires: Turn Off Powers.


The following are the weaknesses of the Kryptonian.


Kryptonite is the last remains of the destroyed Planet Krypton. Kryptonians are vulnerable to kryptonite. For them its an radioactive material that kills them and slowly removes their powers. Kryptonite is rare and usually green on Earth. Usually only the size of a coin and the size of stone.

A small stone of green Kryptonite. 2D6 damage per turn for Kryptonians within ten yard. Each turn the Kryptonian must make a fortitude check DC 12 or lose one Kryptonian level. In comparison, for humans it makes 1D2 damage used as a club. For Kryptonians it appears sharper and heavier( 1d6 damage). Purchase DC 18.

Dependency on Solar Power

Kryptonians gains part of their power from Earths yellow sun. If surrounded by extreme darkness lose one Kryptonian level. If deprived of all Sun light or with a Red Sun Kryptonians lose their levels two per turn.

Telepathic Attacks

Kryptonians are mentally strong and will get a +5 will save against telepathic attacks.
