Isekai Slime Race[edit]

From "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime"

Physical Description[edit]

Looking like an amorphous blob when not shifted, Sentient Slimes are indistinguishable by looks from other slimes and oozes. When shifted, they look like whatever the player tries/can to.
This Slime is able to look like a normal slime of various colors or A human, that still retains every slime quality, but looking human nevertheless.

History[edit]

Not much history, just seen as squish creatures. Cousins to the horrifying other slimes and oozes

Society[edit]

There is little to no society for slimes. Being more than 70% aren't even thinking.

Slime 'Human' Traits[edit]

A Race of the Slime guy from that one Anime. (WIP)
Ability Score Increase. You increase selected ability scores with 3 points to divide as see fit.
Age. You are technically immortal and show no traits of age.
Alignment. Starting out True Neutral, your alignment changes and grows due to the people you meet and interact with. Otherwise, it can be anything.
Size. When not shifted, you are Small to medium. Slime as medium and Slime human as medium. When shifted, you are the size of the creature you shifted into.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 35 feet, both are when not shifted. When shifted, you take on the walking speed of the creature you've shifted into.
Blindsight 60 feet. As eyes are too difficult to mimic in ability, you use basic blindsight to get around. however while changed into a form that possesses eyes, you also gain the visual capabilities of that form so long as you remain in that form.
Great Sage.. As an action, you can ingest object smaller than you and cast the identify spell, without requiring components. Gain proficiency in perception and investigation.
.
Slippy Slime. The AC while in Slime form becomes 11 + dex + proficiency halved (rounded up, max of 20 without shield or magical equipment)
.
Slime Nature.. As a Slime or Slime human you don't need to breath or sleep, resistance to slashing/Piercing damage and immunity to acid damage and exhaustion. Once per day you need to revert to your slime form for at least 5-10 minutes or you lose acid immunity, and suffer a -1 penalty to your
Dexterity and Constitution which can only be reversed by spending 5-10 minutes in your slime form. While in your slime/slime human form you gain additional immunities to the following conditions: Blinded, Restrained, Deafened, and Prone.
.
Slime form.. You can use an action to change your into your slimy form. In this form, you cannot use your hands, hold or carry items. All your items fall into you.
You can fit into a space 1 inch wide without squeezing, and your unarmed attacks deal an additional 2d4 acid damage. Any attempts to grapple you in this form also deals 2d4 acid damage and anyone you successfully grapple while in this form takes 2d4 acid damage per turn that they remain grappled.
You may choose to allow others to not be hurt by your acid.
.
Slime Mimicry. As an action, you can change your appearance and your voice to match that of an object, creature, or race of the creature/exact consumed creature. This includes your coloration, hair length, and sex(optional). You can also adjust your height and weight, but size class can't change for creature. **You can make yourself appear as a member of another race, though none of your game statistics change unless you have consumed the body of a creature of that race,** which only physical attributes may change instantly.(Potential in game for mental). You can’t duplicate the appearance of a creature you’ve never consumed nor can you speak a language you have never learned. Your clothing and equipment aren’t changed by this trait. You can use this for objects as well. You may only use this skill a number of times per day equal to your Constitution modifier (min of 1).
.
Perfect Appearance.. While in the form of a creature or object that it has consumed, your are nearly indistinguishable from the original and any checks made to determine the truth fail automatically if the person or creature making the check has never seen the original form before. If they are very familiar with the original form the checks are made with disadvantage but only disclose that you are an impostor, not that you are a slime.
.
Pseudopod.. As a bonus action, you can create slime like tendrils that protrude from your body to attack a number of creatures within range equal to your Dexterity modifier + 1 (min 1). This attack has a reach of 10 feet and deals 1d6 acid damage + your Dexterity modifier. This acid damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). You can use this feature once per short or long rest.
.
Stomach. Stores the items, devoured creatures, and willing creatures. Items stored in the user's stomach are unaffected by time.
.
Predator Devourer. As Full round Action, To Devour Roll a D20 + Con + Prof. On passing DC-15+CR or level of creature, "gain a random Feature/skill/attack/ability, memories, and heal based on size."
If any kind of arcane attack is gained, it is turned into a random organic elemental attack. At lvl 5 DC-13,, At lvl 9 DC-11,, At lvl 14 DC-9,, At lvl 19 DC-8
You may only hold on to 2 individual Feature/abilities/attacks/skills at a time. This increases to 3 at lvl 6, 4 at lvl 10, 5 at level 14, 6 at level 18. When receiving a new trait you may pick which retained trait you wish to forget or you can forgo taking on the new trait.
Healing: Tiny=1d4. Small=1d6. Medium 2d6. Large=4d4. Any creature absorbed/devoured or inside, you can shapeshift into. The creature must be dead, unconscious, charmed, paralyzed, petrified, Exhausted, Incapacitated, Grappled, Restrained or willing
For Exhaustion, gives you advantage, and Grappled/Restrained gives you disadvantage on the DC check. If the absorbed creature knew any spells, and you can cast that spell, as long as you of spell slots of that level. You may absorb the ability to cast spells if not a caster.
"Abilities/Skills/Features/attacks" that are absorbed can be racial, biological, magical, or class.
Ability scores aren't absorbed. You may change them when shapeshifting, but as a slime or slime human, you gain no ability scores from this unless DM allows in their ruleset.
