Invoke Support

Prerequisites: Ability to summon, animate or create a creature
Your creatures can protect you from your foes. You gain the following benefits:

  • The creature summoned, animated or created imposes disadvantage on the attack roll of one creature it can see that is within 5 feet of it, provided the attack roll is against a creature other than itself.
  • A summoned creature can use its Action to defend you. Doing so imposes disadvantage on all attack rolls made against you, until the start of the creature's next turn.
  • When you are hit by an attack while you have a summoned creature within 5 feet, you can use your reaction to order the creature to throw itself towards the attack. You take no damage and the creature becomes the attack's new target. Once you do so, you can't do it again until you finish a short rest.
