Intense Magic

Prerequisites: You must have a Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom score of 18 or higher and the ability to cast at least one spell in order to take this feature''
Your magic is an overwhelming force to your enemies, studying and using arcane power has made you realize the lethality of your spells. You gain the following benefits:

  • You can select this feat up to 3 times.


What you receive when you first take this feature:

  • Your spells that require an attack roll score a critical on a 19-20. If you already have this benefit increase your critical range by 1.
  • When a creature fails a saving throw on your spell by 5 or more or rolls a natural 1, it is considered a critical hit. If you already have this benefit reduce your enemies critical failure range by 2, up to a maximum of a range of 1.

(Example: 5 to 3 to 1)


What you receive when you take this feature a second time:

  • When a creature makes an attack against you or a target other than you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell at the attacking creature. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.


What you receive when you take this feature a third time:

  • When you score a critical hit with a spell attack the duration of the conditions that you inflict is doubled.
