Weapon (Longsword), artifact (Requires attunement by a Tiefling)
Before Asmodeus consumed the divine spark of Azuth, and through it achieved godhood during the Spellplague, he was Lord of the Nine Hells, and a powerful immortal being. During this time He forced the greatest smiths in the Nine Hells to forge him a weapon worthy of its ruler and so they did. After he became a God, he no longer needs this weapon, so he entrusts it to his champion/avatar or the material planes. Some rumors say, that Asmodeus imprison his wife's/lover very soul into the blade as punishment for being unfaithful to him.
