Physical Description[edit]

Young Igazi Male, by David Sequeira

Commonly referred to as 'milk bloods', the igazi are a race of albino-skinned beastmen, akin to that of the elusive Satyr in many respects with hooved feet and backwards facing knees.. Their skin is fair enough that they can appear snow white with their eyes being a milky or bloodshot red, and especially with deformed, pointed ears they lack a great deal of body hair except for around their waists despite their natural environment. Igazi are especially prone to physical mutation within their bloodlines. These mutations can manifest in the form of many things, the most basic being facial feature deformation, and other mutations consisting of things as extreme as tusks, claws, and even in rare cases jagged sharp teeth.

History[edit]

The igazi are a race located in the far east of Griseos, residing in vast savannas and within great river kingdoms. Their societies are often mistaken as savage and primitive, and while this is oftentimes true for the man tribes that live within the vast eastern savannas or steppes, the igazi boast a rich history of powerful, wealthy river kingdoms. Though they have been pushed further and further to the fringe by the constant encroachment of the power of the Sanguine Concordat, reduced to a few small bastions and faltering tribal warlords as the great empire absorbs more and more of their land.

Society[edit]

Igazi society is often separated much like any feudal or tribal society, with king and chieftains ruling their respective territories. The tribes follow the lifestyle of that of hunter gatherers, chasing down their prey with their incredibly powerful legs and agile bodies, allowing them to run much farther and longer than practically any species on Griseos. Tribal igazi are less rigid and far more freeform than those of the river kingdoms, though their lack of proper structure and organization provides a great deal of vulnerabilities. Igazi of the river kingdoms follow a far more rigid societal hierarchy, with merchants, peasants, warriors, and priesthood. They control trade through the flowing rivers of their lands and dominate the savannas through the wealth of their kings. A society well protected and held under strict totalitarian rules, but ultimately much safer.
