Weapon (glaive), artifact (requires attunement by a paladin)

3,000 years ago, a power hungry wizard made this glaive to capture the essence of night and bend it to his will. He tricked a band of adventurers into killing night with the glaive but the paladin then purified it. The glaive was useless to the wizard so he threw it into a portal to Elysium. For 2,000 years it lay there soaking up the power of elysium until someone found it and brought it back to the material plane. It was henceforth the holy weapon of a group of secluded Monk-Paladins, who are still keeping hidden from the forces that would wish to capture the essence of night. This magic weapon deals an additional 2d6 necrotic and 2d6 radiant damage while also making your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d10 necrotic and 1d10 radiant damage. While attuned to this weapon, you gain moderate knowledge of the monk way of the sun soul subclass.
