The Hell Children
When a human child is born in the Nine Hells, naturally something strange is afoot.
The man reaches to peer into the smoke engulfing the room, after seeing a red glow from the corner he calls for aid only to be quickly silenced by a sharp hot sensation to the throat.
With a smirk, the Hero bids his family farewell to seek out the voice he hears in his dreams.
She bends down to help the starving child, only to be rejected by him as her hair is currently a light.
|“||These children born with demonic abilities are as rarer than the Gods themselves. Born on a layer of the Nine Hells these Humans are lucky to be alive. Little is written about them as there is only one born around every 1000 years and they tend to keep to themselves. However, they soon learn of their potential. Their endless age and affinity with fire are only some of this potential. However, the drawbacks of being hunted by both Paladins and Demons counter these abilities. It is written in scripture that these children will either destroy Asmodeus King of the Nine Hells or join him and destroy what is left of the mortal plane.||”|
Essentially Hell Children look very similar to your average Human. However, upon closer inspection, you will notice their white hair with red streaks and red pupils giving them some unnatural looking features.
Hell child Names
Male: Vasile, Marx, Red, Boran, Ivan, Vlad.
Female: Sophia, Trix, Myskina, Eve, Elizabeth (or any Human name you find suitable)
Hell Child Traits
Humans that have a burning heart of courage.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom increases by 2 and your Dexterity by 1
Age. You reach your Physical age at 25 years but from that point, you are eternal and do not physically change.
Alignment. Hell Children vary in behavior but are never really Lawful Good.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Natural Courage. you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
Demonic Sense. You can use an action to concentrate and detect any Demonic presence within a mile.
Hard to Extinguish. When reduced to 0 hit points you instead go to 1 and glow red until you take a short rest (Once every Long Rest)
Unlocked potential. At level 15 you gain the ability to open a portal to a layer of the Nine-Hells (Once a year and takes a long rest)
Demonic Blood. you have resistance to fire damage.
Languages. Common, Infernal.
