Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Very high flying speed. Irregular vision/sense increments. Resistance to a standard damage type (slash). Flat bonuses for skills instead of proficiency. Action and bonus action, together? Unarmed strikes with an attack roll bonus, and other flat or conditional bonuses. Non-standard reach bonus (3 ft.). See 5e Race Design Guide.

Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: False Appearance could use more rules text (creature can Int (Investigation) check to detect you). The language of Goyle doesn't have a description (speakers, the sound of the language). Incomplete H&W table. Fluff is sparse.

Physical Description[edit]

A Goyle is a simple Goyle. Goyle’s resembles a cross between a bat, hobgoblin, and man, some look like stone, others worse. Everyone knows a gargoyle, these are there cousins.

History[edit]

Da first Goyle Was made by archibald Goyle the 1st. To combat his brother’s creations the gargoyles (he didn’t actually make gargoyles but Archibald didn’t know that) the Goyles lost, it was so humiliating, that archibald sent them all away, but they were able to reproduce soon the number of Goyles outmatched da gargoyles. Soon the Goyles took their revenge, learned common and expose archibald’s sins to the world.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Goyles have roughly average intelligence, similar to humans, but more like a pack of wolves fashion. They roughly follow a “Man eat meat” “Woman eat leaf” society. Their ideas of what “meat” and “leaf” is vary wildly. One pack might believe the only meat are bananas. While another might think Leaves are gold pieces. This radical difference in pack ideals lead to trouble in reproduction since a majority of women die from choking on gold, poisonous frogs, and other non edible things that might be mistaken as “leaf”. This diet based society defines the Goyles, Goyle clerics and paladins even worship gods of things that are based on what they are “supposed to eat”

Names[edit]

Goyles have simple names, but one common convention is that they must have the letters “o” and “y”.

Male: Boy, orlandy, Mocky, Mayoy, Loweky, Roy

Female: Goyl, Yolanda, Dinolay, Laoyin, Doya.
