Godling[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Godlings are just really a term persay, because you can look like a human or a dwarf or a orc and so on,but still be counted as a Golding due to your near godly immortality due to some reasons of backstory and a mix of the race’s history.

History[edit]

The Godlings came as an experiment, gods and chosen race (what race you decide to look as) mingling or just a simple curse to walk the planes of the realms for all eternity. The first Godlings though we’re a genetic experiment of the gods because a few gods were chosen to mingle in the forgotten realms to have kids and to put them into trial to see if they were worthy of joining the gods or not.Due to the original Godling’s being quite literal descendants of the god, they were able to succeed the trials but the last trial was to kill their god parents…literally.Since the Godlings were a experimental breed, the godlings refused to hurt their parents because they have actual remorse and morals other than their godly parents who had nearly none so the original godlings ended up failing the final trial and ended up being banished from the god realm for all eternity. The godlings then mingled with “mortals” and had kids and spreaded the godly genetics. Some “godlings” aren’t even godlings because they are cursed to live for eternity without even having the genetics of the gods.
