Infested. The host is controlled by a goa'uld symbiote. If the symbiote is removed from the host, the host loses the benefits of its other traits and can no longer use its Frightful Presence.

Innate Spellcasting (at-will). The host's spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the thaumaturgy cantrip, requiring no material components.

Magic Resistance. The host has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Naquadah Blood. The host can use certain magic items without needing to attune to them.

Perfect Health. The host is immune to non-magical poisons and diseases. It has advantage on Constitution saving throws against magical versions of the same.

Regeneration. The host regains 5 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The host uses its Frightful Presence. It then makes one weapon attack.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14). Until the grapple ends, the target is restrained.

Zat'nik'tel. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/120, one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) lightning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of its next turn. While a creature is paralyzed in this way, it has vulnerability to all damage.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the host's choice that is within 30 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Frightful Presence of all hosts for 24 hours.

When a goa'uld symbiote infests another creature, its alien biology enhances the host in many ways. The host becomes stronger, healthier, and more resistant to sickness, and their natural lifespan increases fivefold. In addition, the host's voice becomes unnaturally deep, and its eyes glow whenever it feels intense emotions or wishes to intimidate others. Most insidious of all is the alteration of the host's blood, which allows it to use certain devices of goa'uld manufacture.

These statistics represent the host of a minor goa'uld, equipped with basic armor and a zat'nik'tel for self-defense but otherwise bereft of the gear afforded to higher-ranking goa'uld.
