Dark One's Blessing. Whenever the ghastly warlock reduces a hostile creature to 0 hit points, it gains 8 temporary hit points.

Spellcasting. The ghastly warlock is a 4th level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The ghastly warlock has 3 spell slots, and can expend a spell slot to cast any spell it knows. The ghastly warlock knows the following warlock spells:

1st level: burning hands, command
2nd level: blindness/deafness, darkness, invisibility, scorching ray

Turning Defiance. The ghastly warlock and any undead within 30 feet of it have advantage on saving throws against effects that turn undead.


Eldritch Blast. Ranged Spell Attack: +6 to hit, range 120 ft., one or two targets. Hit: 11 (2d10) force damage if the ghastly warlock attacked one target, or 5 (1d10) force damage if the ghastly warlock attacked two.

Iron Rod. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage and 4 (1d8) necrotic damage. If the target is a creature other than an undead, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
