Weapon (morningstar), very rare (requires attunement)

When the new bearer of the Frozen Star attunes to this weapon, a vision of the cold and dark cosmos appears to him. A new star is being born - particles of light and matter dancing around its core: fast and beatiful. Suddenly, their dance comes to an end - icy-like substance stops the particles in their tracks, freezing the outer layer, creeping into the core. The core tries to escape its fate, pounding at the now frozen crust - yet it can't. Only spikes, resembling beams of light may tell the tale of a star, that wasn't born. This unborn star is the ball of this beatiful morningstar.

Magical Item. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Nailing spikes. As one of your attacks, you can perform a ranged attack, up to 30 ft range, with this weapon in hand, dealing 2d4 piercing damage. If the target is hit, and it is of the same or smaller size than you, it must make a Strength (Athletics) save DC 15. If the target fails the check, it is pushed away from you 5 ft and suffers additional 1d4 force damage. If the target can't be pushed, due to it standing to a wall, then the target instead suffers 2d4 force damage and is nailed to the wall. Being nailed to the wall, target suffers the Incapacitated condition, its speed drops to 0 ft and attack rolls against the creature have advantage. At the beginning of its turn, target can make a Strength (Athletics) check DC 13 to free itself. You need to use a bonus action to recharge this ability. In doing so, new spikes will replace those which flew towards your target.
