An Engram, in its true form, is a series of algorithms. Their “bodies” are nothing more than mechanical shells meant to facilitate their survival.

History[edit]

Engrams are the creations of a long past war. Used as soldiers, medics and servants. Engrams where only resantly made a free people.

Engram Traits[edit]

Engrams are programed constructs that can be put into different frames for differing effects. Physical stats are tied to the frame.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. An Engram does not physically age, only mentally.
Alignment. Engrams are usually some form of neutral.
Size. The size of the engram is largely dependent on the frame, but all engram chips are about an inch long. Your size is Tiny.
Speed. Your base speed is 0 feet without a frame.
Non-living sentient. Your creature type is construct instead of humanoid. You are immune to poison damage, being poisoned, and diseases. You cannot eat or breathe. You do not require sleep and cannot be put to sleep magically, instead you enter an inactive state for 6 hours each day. You are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and other events as normal.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Runt[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity and Constitution are 8.
Size. This frame often resemble a small child. Your size is small in this frame.
Speed. Your speed is 30 ft in this frame.
Components. 15 gp worth of materials.
Childish Appearance. You are able to cast the Friends cantrip without the target becoming hostile.
Self-Repairing Mechanism. You are able to use one hit die to regenerate one hp on the start of your turn for a number of turns equal to the number rolled. You can use this feature a number of times up to your proficiency modifier.

Magus[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength is 10, your Dexterity is 16 and your Constitution is 14.
Size. You are either small or medium, decided at creation.
Speed. Your speed is 35 ft in this frame.
Components. 150 gp worth of materials.
Techno-magical "body". You are able to use your own "body" as a spellcasting focus.
Magic cannon. You know one cantrip that requires an attack roll.
Dual-Processor. You are able to concentrate on two spells simultaneously. You need an extra 2500gp to gain this trait.

Bulwark[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength is 14, your Dexterity is 8 and your Constitution is 18.
Size. You are bordering on large but your size is medium.
Speed. Your speed is 30 ft in this frame.
Components. 250 gp worth of materials.
Durable Plating. When unarmored your AC is 13 + Your Constitution modifier.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
