Empowering Drink (5e Equipment)

Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: No action required to drink, no description, horrible-looking formatting, typos and unusable mechanical wording throughout (what does "5 ft. of movement" on its own mean? Does this set your movement speed to 5 feet?), the section describing "False Attuned effects" (arguably the whole thing) needs to be completely rewritten to be usable. 5e doesn't really do temporary ability score increases.

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Can potentially (and is likely to) grant a 27 in Strength, equivalent to a very rare Potion of Giant Strength, on top of other benefits. The exhaustion doesn't balance this (and with how it's written they might only happen if you gain the "False Attuned effects"), it just means that the party rests a little while longer after it punches above its weight.

Potion, Rare

You have to be a barbarian to drink it. If you aren't, one of the following occurs (DM's choice or roll 1d4):
on a 1) You turn into a sheep for 1 hour
on a 2) Your Strength drops with 7 points (never below 1) for 1d6 days
on a 3) You take 1d8 bludgeoning, 1d8 piercing, 1d8 slashing and 1d10 force damage.
on a 4) Make a DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw:
If you fail, your Hit Point Maximum drop with 7 and
If you succeed, nothing happens.

If a barbarian drinks it, he/she gains the following benefits for the next 30 minutes:
1) STR + 7 (max 30)
2) CON + 5 (max 30)
3) 1d20 temporary Hit Points, and
4) 5 ft. of movement.

You can benefit from only one Empowering Drink at a time. Drinking a second one while under influence of one gives you one of the four False Attuned effects (Sheep/STR -7/3d8+1d10 damage/DC 20 CON Save).
After the effects disappear, you gain 2 levels of exhaustion.
