Eater of Souls (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Eater of Souls
Medium undead, chaotic evil
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 6 (1d12) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Birthed from the eater of worlds as a being of pure malice, its sole instincts are to pursue, punish, and kill. They have roughly teardrop-shaped bodies, covered in eyes and writhing tendrils, with a pair of wickedly spiked pincers and a circular mouth full of yellowed teeth placed at the larger end. On its own, an eater of souls is not especially dangerous, but they are seemingly innumerable and will quickly swarm anyone who intrudes in their master's domain.
Undead Nature. A eater of souls doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
