Dread Guard of the Lidless Eye
Medium humanoid (human), chaotic evil
Saving Throws Str +7, Con +7
Truth Detection. The dread guard knows if it hears a lie.
Spellcasting. The dread guard is a 16th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). The dread guard has the following wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): acid splash, chill touch, fire bolt, mage hand, ray of frost
Multiattack. The dread guard males two melee attacks and casts a cantrip.
Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used in two hands.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage if used in two hands.
Shield. When a creature makes an attack against an avatar of the Lidless Eye, the dread guard grants a +2 bonus to the wearer's AC if the dread guard is within 5 feet of the avatar.
The dread guard of the Lidless Eye is the cult's greatest weapon. Able to deal high amounts of damage and absorb it too, the sorcerer-fighters are also the cult's elite's bodyguards. A cult lord of the Lidless Eye will have at least three dread guard, an avatar of the Lidless Eye at least nine. The dread guard are also strategists and advisers to the elite of the cult.
