Dragoonkin[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Dragoonkin are mostly look like their humanoid parent with slight characteristics of the draconic parent. The characteristics that Dragoonkin have are horns, a tail and wings with scaled patches along your skin matching the colour of draconic parent. Other than the previous characteristics stated you look very human other than your sharp draconic eyes. Think Tania from beast tamer.

History[edit]

Dragoonkin are the direct results of a humanoid and a dragon, drake or wyvern having a child. Some say that most of Dragoonkin are the offspring of a galactic bard travelling the multiverse saving worlds and slaying dragons.Dragoonkin are normally either highly sociable if they live with there humanoid parent but can be solitary with a small sights of there draconic parent and their humanoid parent.

Race Name Names[edit]

Male: Male names follow your humanoid parents race naming scheme Female: Female names follow your humanoid parents race naming scheme

Dragoonkin Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your score increases by 2 and your cha score increases by con 1.
Age. Your aging rate is the same as you humanoid parent
Alignment. Your alignment normally matches or is similar to your draconic parent
Size. Your hight varies depending on your humanoid parent. You do tend to be on the larger size. Size class small ,medium ,large (depending on your humanoid parent)
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. You also have a fly speed equivalent to your walk speed.
Breath weapon. You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. It deals damage in an area according to your ancestry. When you use your breath weapon, all creatures in the area must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your ancestry. The DC of this saving throw is 8 + your Constitution or Charisma modifier depending which is higher + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increase to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th, and 5d6 at 16th level. You breath weapon can also deal d4s rather than d6s damage but also paralyze, sleep or poison if your breath weapon is a poison breath weapon . After using your breath weapon, you can use it up to your proficiency bonus until you complete a short or long rest.
Parents blood. you gain a skill proficiency that humanoid parent has if they don't have one choose any skill to be proficient in.
draconic blood. you have resistance to the damage type your breath weapon is.
Draconic scales. your scales are naturally defensive giving you a +1 to your ac if your wearing light or medium armour.
prerequisites. Whatever your humanoid parents race was you gain that as your Prerequisite as well as Dragonborn if you need prerequisites for feats or weapons.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic and the language your humanoid parent.
