Is there anyway to become a deity?[edit]

I was wondering if there was any possible way to become a deity? I heard that supposedly only deity's can make you a deity. But are there other ways??? A list of the ways, and steps on how to go on with them would be nice....

Also look at Pun-Pun, although that's a little bit iffy.

Diablod3[edit]

that will depend on your dm. i had a character that wound up becoming highlander style immortal, he took so many heads that becoming a deity was the only logical step. but generally without gaining a divine spark from somewhere it wont matter how much power you attain you will simply be a very powerful mortal. some of the games i played in gods had divine tokens that contained the divine spark that granted them their god-hood. if you could steal one of the tokens then you got their spark and they lost it. good look doing that, u normally would need to beat the snot out of a god to get it off him. some dm have artifacts that can grant a divine spark, and sometimes a quest done for a god can lead to a spark as a reward.
