The Dilophosaurus extravagans is an extravagant but deadly dinosaur. It is an 8-foot tall and 20-foot long predator, with a heavy tail, strong hind limbs, and a long neck. Its crests make a V shape above the creature's head. The jungle dilos have crests that are dark red and have black stripes, like a parrot. Its body is covered with yellow and black spots, like a leopard, with a light green belly. It can mimic the sounds of various types of birds to fool its prey. The dilophosaurus is able to spit toxic acid at a range of 12 meters (40 feet) and it usually targets the eyes of its prey in order to blind it and make it easier to kill. The Dilophosaurus is what is known as a bridge genus, it was an animal that walked the land bridge between Arkamata and Chuult. On Arkamata, Dilophosaurus nyctoibis sports a dark green or brown skin with Fancy black patterning topped off with double light tan crests. It also possesses frills not seen on its jungle brethren. However, the crests on both species become a bright red when the dilo gets angry or excited, triggering a blood rush to brighten its colors. The excited nyctoibis has bright orange crests and a pair of yellow and red frills for intimidating rivals
