Demi-Kaiser[edit]

Kaiser behemoths are some of the most feared creatures in the land. It's no surprise some may try to emulate its power.

Physical Description[edit]

Demi-kaisers are beastly humanoids that resemble a chimeric blend of a sabertooth and some dinosaur. They are incredibly muscular, with very little fat, and have powerful arms, jaws and claws to tear and destroy things with. Along their spine are tufts of coarse furs that are longer than the thin bristles elsewhere on their skin. Their skin is usually purplish, though some are near grey-blue or even white in the polar regions. From between the two sides of their neck and shoulders protrude horns meant to gore enemies to death. Older demi-kaisers have horns heavier than a human sometimes. They also have a strong tail that ends in a flipper-like appendage. Because their arms are often longer than their legs, they have no trouble running on all fours.

History[edit]

Kaiser behemoths are beasts that reign like gods over mortals. They are heavily destructive and tough due to their numbed out senses to pain. Humans of tribes in plains that abutted the hunting grounds of these creatures revere them as a symbol of enduring strength. They enact rituals to channel the beasts power into their own bodies to enhance themselves. This can result in the transformation into a demi-kaiser. Normally, this mostly happens to well-versed shamans who conduct the ritual daily until its effects become permanent. Once they succeed, they are a force among men. In these circles, demi-kaisers are akin to the children of gods. They are given great respect and often lead such communities. Their destructive tendencies are used to protect their own.

Society[edit]

Demi-kaisers, with the power they embody, are usually leaders within the human tribes where they practiced rituals prior their metamorphosis. Their heightened senses of battle, superior strength, and beastly attitude makes them hard to oppose. They also have longer life spans as a result of the change, and may often outlive their following. Demi-kaisers have become more common due to the spread of such rituals to channel energies of powerful beings, but remain quite rare. They are often wandering in lands that no longer worship them as their own once had. Due to their powerful personalities, demi-kaisers tend to steer clear of each other's company. On the rare occasion two meet, they may fight to let out their savagery, or mate and birth a new demi-kaiser.
