Crustacheae[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Crustacheae look more or less like crabs, depending on the sub-race.

History[edit]

Originating from giant crabs, it's unknown how exactly the Crustacheae gained sentience. It's assumed that this was a result of humanoids hunting their species to near extinction. For the first thousand or so years of their existence, they were secluded, still fearing the humans. Now, there are many of their settlements scattered across the world, with many individual Crustacheae becoming integrated into settlements of other species.

Society[edit]

Crustacheae tend to live in warm, open areas, such as deserts and plains. Their villages and cities are located underground and can span up to 500 feet wide and usually go down to a depth of 50 to 100 feet. Their settlements are lead by a group of their most respected and accomplished warriors and elders. They usually avoid other civilizations, but some of the more sociable individuals have been known to try and fit in with humans, often managing to get jobs involving heavy manual labor or use as warriors.

Crustachean Names[edit]

Traditional names for Crustacheae have two syllables in their names, separated by a short pause, represented by an apostrophe. Names ending in 'e' and 'u' are considered masculine, whereas names with a, 'o' and 'i' at the end are feminine.
