Armor (Tunic), artifact (requires attunement)

this artifact was crafted by a particularly wealthy artifacer who wished to use his wealth for protection, rather than, you know, spending it. the tunic is made out of coins which link together as if by magnets.
Wealth Protection this tunic can hold up to 50 gp worth of coins. during a short or long rest, you may add or remove coins from the tunic. as a bonus action or reaction, you may activate the tunics power, expending any amount of wealth (rounded to the nearest gold piece) on the tunic. for every gp you expend, you are protected from 1 point of damage, no matter what. the tunic does not accept fake money, or money which does not exist as a coin. if all of the charges are expended using this power, the tunic is reduced to a single copper piece and is deemed unwearable until at least 1 gold piece or equivalent value is returned
Destroying the Coinmail Tunic. the tunic can be destroyed by reducing it to its copper piece form, and then be bitten in half by a figure of nobility.
