Wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement)

The Cloak of Kewil was worn by Kewil the Featherless. Kewil the Featherless was an aarakocra who had his wings ripped from his body. Kewil was taunted for his misfortune, not being able to fly with the others and support them in hunts, battle or in the Sky Dance. Kewil did have one saving grace, he was an artificer. His profession however, was not taken kindly. He spent years in solitude trying to recover what he had lost. He experimented with other, smaller, flying races such as pixies and sprites but to no avail. He even attempted the daring task of collecting a roc feather from a nest approximately one thousand miles from where he was living. After many years traveling abroad and continuing his experiments, he finally found his answer on the Elemental Plane of Air. Thus, the Cloak of Kewil was woven and worn for many seeking to fly. The Cloak is decorated with feathers woven into white fabric, on the center of the back there is an image of a roc and it has detailed script depicting a ritual to summon air elementals written in Auran.
