Cerealian[edit]

A relatively peaceful tribe of Aliens, the Cerealians have above-average physical capabilities and a rather peaceful feeling for most other races. They have one natural-born enemy, the Frieza Force and the Saiyans, whom they will almost always instantly initiate a death match with should they come across them.

Physical Description[edit]

Cerealians.png

Cerealians, while not too drastically different from most human-like races, have two distinct traits. The first distinct trait is that they always have hair with a coloring pertaining toward a shade of green. They are slightly more muscular than the average human, and the younger children are a bit flexible in terms of body types. The second distinctive trait is their right eye which has a merged iris and pupil that is a deep red. They reach puberty around 13 years of age and maintain their youth for almost their entire life, save the last decade. They possess a slight tanner skin tone and varying hairstyles with spikes in them. They can range from 5 to 7 feet tall and can be anywhere from 120 to 300 pounds.

History[edit]

The Cerealians were once the inhabitants of Cereal and coexisted with a tribe of Namekians who settled on the planet after traveling from another realm. Around Age 733, the Cerealian homeworld was ravaged by the Frieza Force and its Saiyan Army, with a few survivors. Following this, the planet was later sold and inhabited by a race of Sugarians. With few survivors, the race seems to be teetering on the edge of extinction.

Society[edit]

On their homeworld, the Cerealians seemed peaceful with the local Namekians and had a societal structure similar to that of Earthlings on Planet Earth, with a notable lack of a King.

Cerealian Names[edit]

Cerealian names are commonly derived from types of grains and cereal, usually working as a pun. Some notable examples are: Granolah, Flayk, and Muezli.

Cerealian Traits[edit]

Legends speak of their unparalleled ability to adapt, evolve, and take notable aim at the weaknesses of their opponents.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increase by 2, and your Dexterity or Strength score increase by 1.
Age. Cerealians mature quickly from late teens and can live up to 200 years, staying in prime fighting condition until the last few years of their lives.
Alignment. Cerealians tend to share common positive personality traits, even at young ages. Being peaceful people, they share an innate enjoyment for conversation and other peaceful means of communication, except in the case of dealing with the Frieza Force or Saiyans. Most Cerealians will always be some type of Good, with very few outliers leaning toward Neutral and even fewer Evil.
Size. Cerealians are taller and heavier than humans standing at around and beyond the 6-foot range and averaging almost 250 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Red Eye. You naturally have an aptitude toward detecting Ki Signatures and other presences around you thanks to an eye that has evolved to grant incredible perceptive and sniping abilities. Starting at 1st level, you know the Ki Sense technique, which does not count toward your number of techniques known limit. You can optionally gain proficiency in the Insight and Perception skill instead.
Pressure Point Combat. Thanks to the Red Eye and constant training, you have perfected a form of combat that targets the weak spots of your opponents with a particular aim. The critical threshold of your attacks permanently increases by +1 (20 > 19-20 > 18-20, etc.).

Starting at 6th level, and again at 18th, 30th, 42nd, and 54th level, increase the critical threshold of your attacks permanently by an additional +1 (total of +6 to the critical threshold when at 54th level or above).
Improving Body. Due to the way the Cerealians have evolved and their bodily functions, they can adapt to their opponent with time thanks to their Red Eye to gain an advantage against their enemies.

Every 12 seconds (2 rounds), increase your Armor Class by +1. Additionally, increase your attack modifier by +1 and damage die by 1 tier (1 > d4 > d6 > d8 > d10 > d12) to a maximum of a d12. If an attack would go above the d12 tier or is already above the d12 tier, roll an additional damage dice instead.

You can only benefit from this racial trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per encounter, and the effects of this racial trait automatically end at the end of an encounter, being reset if you enter a new encounter after this trait has ended.
Languages. You can speak, read and write Common and one other language of your choice.
