Carpenter's Table[edit]

Magic trap

This table is a standard work station for a carpenter, complete with tools, seating, safety equipment, and a seemingly endless supply of wood. A creature who sits at or takes a tool/any wood from it must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or they will become cursed to begin working on a medium sized piece of wooden furniture, such as a barrel, crate, chair, or small table. Despite the nearby safety gear, the creature will not feel compelled to use it, as the cursed bench engages the creature in dangerous woodworking. Each hour until the object is completed, the creature must make a DC 15 Strength or Dexterity saving throw. On a success, nothing happens to the creature, but on a failure the creature takes 2d6 slashing, bludgeoning, or piercing damage, depending on what kind of tool they are using (ex. hammer, saw, hand drill). At the end of 4 hours, the furniture is completed.

If a creature passes a DC 15 Investigation check, they discover what appears to be a loose nail. Pulling on the nail causes the table to collapse and be completely destroyed.
