Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the bugbear hits with it (included in the attack).

Heart of Hruggek. The bugbear has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, paralyzed, poisoned, stunned, or put to sleep.

Spellcasting. The bugbear is an 8th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The bugbear has the following druid spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): druidcraft, guidance, produce flame, shillelagh
1st level (4 slots): burning hands, cure wounds, find familiar (ritual only), ice knife
2nd level (3 slots): misty step, warding wind, wither and bloom
3rd level (3 slots): call lightning, conjure animals, erupting earth
4th level (2 slots): fire shield, ice storm

Summoning Savant. When the bugbear casts a spell that conjures or summons creatures, it does not need to concentrate on the spell. Additionally, damage from the bugbear's summoned creatures is magical.

Surprise Attack. If the bugbear surprises a creature and hits it with an attack during the first round of combat, the target takes an extra 7 (2d6) damage from the attack.

Goat Staff. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit (+5 with shillelagh), reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, 11 (2d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands, or 12 (2d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage with shillelagh. Once per turn, when the bugbear hits with this attack, it deals an additional 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.
