More information...

The god of honor and grace, Brantak knows the importance of fighting fluidly. He believes that it is important to keep on the move in a battle, whether it be physical or verbal. By never staying in one place, your opponent can never catch you off guard. Despite what you may be told by others, Brantak believes in the legal aquisition of wealth. Nothing makes him happier then hard-working people being rewarded for their effort, and nothing makes him angrier then those who cheat others out of those rewards.

Dogma[edit]

Brantak, though he is god of honor, does not believe in mercy. If confronted by someone, they are your enemy, and therefore deserve no mercy. This does not mean they deserve death, merely that you do not let up during the confrontation. It could be that you argue with them, using logic to allow you to win. On the other hand, Brantak believes in being gracious in defeat. If you tried your best, and still lost, you have nothing to be ashamed of, and have no reason to be anything but gracious.

Whislt there are few things Brantak would have his followers do, he does ask for a simple sentiment. Giving your weapon (not necessarily a weapon of violence) a taste of blood is customary before a battle. Cutting your upper arm enough to bleed, but not enough to hurt, and wiping blood on your weapon, be it your sword or your tongue, is all he asks.

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Brantak temples are usually simple but strong, with a look of fluidity. They are normally found in places easily accessed to peasants and nobles alike. Priests generally train in martial arts, and wear expensive garments, including a gold and ruby symbol. There is an asked donation at every service, but priests work hard outside of the temple to raise revenue and keep the church going.
