Long ago, a warforged hunter named Asaurus roamed lands of Faerun. Years of beast slaying made this one like a wild animal, unyealding and brutal, wild like no other, carving only challenging target. One day, he found Amulet of Planes, and finalized his long dream, to travel to Wilderness of the Beastlands, where he could stay and hunt. And hunt. And hunt, till he worked for the title of King of Hunt - Rex.

After many years a weird thing happend; something came to this plane. Body made of metal, like his, yet different. Those intruders didn't answer questions, so they made yet another prey for warforged. Unfortunately, or fortunately, they were only pawns. Machines in control of someone beyond the normal order of things. They were warbots made and commanded by Aeris Mekhaus, god of technology. A very impetuous god, who does actually interfere when whole battalion of soldiers sent to gather data is being molded into ground by one person. So the goddes herself came and saw a machine, not made by her, standing before her. After some talk Mekhaus offered a proposition: "Come with me, you will hunt like never before. Why? Because I will unmake you, and forge anew. Accept and come, or stay. Either way back off from my soldiers, or I'll rip you to shreds myself."

After his rebuild Asaurus Rex walked between planes, hunting for problematic entities, alive or dead. On Ferrospfera, homeworld of Aeris Mekhaus and her creations, he was given a home to stay, a place to keep his trophies, and garden to relax in. Now only thing Rex misses is a thrill of hunt, for now all of it is just too easy.
