When you make an ability check using these magical tools, you gain a bonus to the roll. The bonus is determined by the tools' rarity. If the tools within a set are separated, they offer no benefit until the set is complete again. If any of the tools in a set are destroyed, all equipment within the set becomes nonmagical.
