Amalgamation (5e Race)
Amalgamation[edit]
Physical Description[edit]
A race of people with distinct and varied abilities. Someone with several mix-matched components could very well be a part of this race. From a halfling with aarakocra wings to a Dragonborn with a tieflings’ infernal legacy this race shared many anomalies with its abilities.
History[edit]
The first Amalgamation was created in a lab by combining DNA from different species. However, due to the conflicting nature of these forms, the DNA became highly unstable and entered a state of stasis until it could reorganize and stabilize on its own.
Society[edit]
This race of creatures is often indecisive and suffers from a constant, indefinite madness. One common symptom is a tendency to mimic others—'I try to become more like someone else I know, adopting their style of dress, mannerisms, and even their name.' As a result, their personality frequently shifts, cycling through the various traits they’ve absorbed.
