Chakra. The akuta has 12 chakra points which he can expend. All chakra points are regained at the end of a long rest.

Natural Constitution. The akuta does not need to eat, drink, or sleep. If it is touched by a creature that has a number of special chakra points (not including heavy chakra) greater than half its chakra points, it becomes paralyzed until the end of its next turn.

Fabrication. When the akuta spends chakra, it takes an equal amount of damage.

Weak Mask. If the akuta takes at least 16 damage from a single source, it is killed instantly.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The akuta can make 2 unarmed strikes.

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Regeneration (3/Day). As a bonus action, the akuta regains 3 hit points or 1 chakra point.

Body Flicker (3 Chakra). The akuta's movement speed doubles, and its movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Headhunter (6 Chakra). The akuta gains a 45 ft. burrowing speed until the beginning of its next turn. If it hits a creature with an unarmed strike while burrowing, it may forgo damage to pull them underground, causing the target to become restrained and prone for 1 hour. They may attempt a DC 11 Strength saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect early in a success.

REACTIONS

Substitution (3+ Chakra). When the akuta is hit by an attack and would take damage, it decreases the damage by 11 (1d10 + 5) and teleports up to 15 ft. in any direction to an unoccupied space, during which it takes the Hide action. A generic object is left in its place and it takes any remaining damage from that attack. The akuta can reduce this damage by an additional 5 (1d10) points per chakra point spent over the initial cost.

Long ago in the Hidden Stone Village, an Earth Style ninjutsu was created to create fully living, organic beings from nothing but clay and a distinctive mask. After numerous ethical disputes and an incident regarding multiple of these artificial beings escaping their masters and attacking civilians, the technique was sealed away. Nearly a century later, during the Fourth Tsuchikage's reign, a doctor aligned with Kara from the Stone Village unearthed the technique, convincing the Third Tsuchikage to further develop it to "save lives in any future wars". With the first successful attempt came an army of artificial lifeforms dubbed the "akuta", literally meaning trash. Within their owl-like masks are series of fuinjutsu bending their living clay into serving one they recognize as their leader, thus should the mask be destroyed, their life would vanish with it. While useful, the akuta army was not what the team desired, leaving them to only guard the testing facility amid developing their goal.
