[edit]

Effects[edit]

<Curse> can be broken by casting remove curse with a spell slot of Xth level or higher.

Alternatively, you can have your curse follow the examples set about in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft on pgs. 192-193 by following the preload below.

Pronouncement[edit]

This isn't a bluff. It's a threat. Should be something vague and unsettling that guarantees suffering if one does a certain offensive act.

Burden[edit]

The hardship of the curse. The part they were warned about with the pronouncement. Could be disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and/or saves with one or more ability scores, losing hit points over time, etc.

Resolution[edit]

How to make restitution and be forgiven for the transgression. Spells may suppress the burden of the curse temporarily, but not fully remove until the resolution has been reached.
