Feature Dump 1: Warlock[edit]

Here are a few random Variant Features I just thought of on the spot and wanted to put down. I hope you like them!

Pact Boons[edit]

Pact of the Atavist[edit]

Your patron has given you access to a lesser form of Blood Magic, allowing you to further your Pact Magic powers through your own energies. When you have consumed all of your Spell Slots, you can invoke this Blood Magic to consume 2 Hit Points and regain 1 Spell Slot. You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your constitution modifier (minimum of 1), and you regain all of your uses of this feature after a Short Rest.

Pact of the Desecrated Domain[edit]

Prerequisites: Your patron must be the Celestial, Great Old One, or Hexblade/Raven Queen

Your patron gives you the ability to channel the god-like powers they hold or are heavily connected to. Choose a cleric domain that is related to your Otherworldly Patron (E.G. Celestial has the domains of the god they come from). You can use the Channel Divinity feature for that domain once per day, although you cannot use Channel Divinity for Turn Undead. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a Short Rest.

Pact of the Invoker[edit]

Your patron has allowed you to use more of their Eldritch Invocations than normal. You can learn 2 more Eldritch Invocations of your choice, granted you meet the prerequisites.

Eldritch Invocations[edit]

Bloodied Blast[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Atavist, eldritch blast cantrip

Upon successfully hitting a target with Eldritch Blast, you can consume one of your uses of Pact of the Atavist to have the target make a constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 1d6 Necrotic damage and is poisoned until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, the target takes only half damage and suffers no further effect.

Eldritch Dragonbreath[edit]

Prerequisites: eldritch blast cantrip

When you cast Eldritch Blast, you can choose to create a Cone (15 foot wide, 25 foot long) of Force rather than a ranged Bolt of Force. Anyone caught within range of the cone has to make a dexterity saving throw or take 1d10 Force damage. If you have the Agonizing Blast invocation, the cone deals extra Lightning damage equal to your charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

Fangs of the Corrupted[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Atavist, Level 5

You gain sharp fangs which you can use to make Unarmed Attacks. If you hit with it, you deal Piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your charisma modifier, and the target must make a wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC. Upon a failed save, the target becomes frightened until the end of your next turn and will take an additional 1d4 Necrotic damage upon losing the frightened condition. On a successful save, nothing happens.

Flames of Limbo[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Desecrated Domain

You may cast chaos bolt once by expending a warlock spell slot. You can't use this again until you finish a Long Rest.

Flames of the Elemental Chaos[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Desecrated Domain, Flames of Limbo, Level 5.

When you use Flames of Limbo and target an Undead creature of CR 1 or lower, the effect of Turn Undead is placed on them.

Heart of the Pact[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Invoker

You gain the feature of 1 additional Pact Boon of your choice (besides Pact of the Invoker). You cannot use this invocation to gain other invocations that require said Pact Boon to be learned.

Wings of the Desecrated[edit]

Prerequisites: Pact of the Desecrated Domain, Level 9

You gain a Flying speed equal to your Walking speed, and can Dash as a bonus action while flying.
