Volant (3.5e Equipment)

A Volant weapon functions like one with the speed effect, except as noted below:
Volant weapons confer two extra attacks instead of one, though the second attack is at a -10 penalty to hit.
Volant Weapons are nigh impossible to follow, and thus the target of such a weapon loses any insight bonus to AC, excluding those confered by temporary magical effects.
The user of a Volant Weapon has their range of movement increased by 5'
The Volant enhancement can only be applied to piercing or slashing weapons (or ranged weapons that use piercing or slashing ammunition).
Caster Level: 21st; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Craft Epic Magic Arms and Armor, Haste; Market Price: +7 bonus.
