Void (5e Environment)
Void[edit]
The Void is a pitch black eternal darkness, nothing more, creatures with darkvision cannot see, anything inside the void floats, because the void is infinite, a creature with access to it can use it like infinite storage, in the void, anything that generates light doesn't work, Invisible Stalkers live here, to access it, you must draw a 20 ft. in each direction circle, place 1 thing from each plane around the circle, make a star (the kind that crosses over itself), and cast gate centered on the circle, the circle and things disappear, and the circle turns into a portal to the void, if nothing falls into the void when it is summoned, the summoner must pick a target, black chains grab the target's legs and pull them into the void with the target making a strength check (DC 20) on a fail they are pulled into the void and take 1d12 necrotic damage, on a success they stay and take 2d12 necrotic damage, if a target isn't picked then 1d6 black Enormous Tentacles come out of the void and destroy anything they can, they attack people nearby and break things near the portal, anything in the circle that isn't required for the summoning falls into the void, this only prevents the void eating someone if a living thing that is size medium and sentient falls in, with smaller creatures, you need more (small=4 creatures, tiny=8).
