Lyrius

In a world of brave knights and powerful gods, Lyrius (pronounced LEER-EE-IHS) finds a home as a mythic fantasy setting for the Vestige Gods setting. It’s filled with ancient legends of intellectual mages who ascended to near god-hood, powerful demigod champions who have fallen into madness, and (perhaps most interesting) a tearing veil between planes, where the Shadowfell and Feywild are within mere feet of each other.

The world of Lyrius is perfect for a campaign in which adventures combat evil clerics, slay a dragon as part of a holy quest, or just go spelunking to find relics of ages past. The people are incredibly pious; Lyrius has over 50 greater gods and goddesses, including the Twelve Fates and the nine, original Elder Deities, not to mention about 100 lesser deities and forgotten spirits.

Although the Vestige Gods setting is not yet finished (I have yet to finish mapping the entire world, and barely have ideas for the lesser deities of Lyrius), I believe that with all the current lore, unique locations (Stormcrow’s Vale, Frostforge, Silverkeep), and other such information, the world is ready to be shown off.

Campaign Setting Information[edit]

Religion
In Kehl particularly, Lyrius very heavily rests upon religion, from mortals waging wars with the gods on their sides to the imprisonment of Oreos, the former god of the mind.
