Innocence Lost[edit]

Your character has found themselves in a situation that has flipped their perfect world upside-down. This reason could be anything from their family's castle was raided and they now have to fend for themselves, to their friends being held hostage until they find an object impossible to obtain, or even that they got kicked out of town for not paying their rent or just being a little shit. Your character was about to, or was having, a perfect life with decent pay and everything they would ever have needed. This means that for them to give up that life, or being forced to, it has to have been pretty dire circumstances. Think about how they would feel about having everything they've earned thrown away and starting a whole new path on the way of life.

Skill Proficiencies: Investigation, Any other skill.

Tool Proficiencies: A tool that you would have been proficient with in your former life.

Languages: One of your choice.

Equipment: set of common clothes, a reasonable amount of gold pieces (ask your GM), the tool you are proficient with, a trinket reminding you why you're now an adventurer.

Specialization[edit]

So what happened for you to end up in the streets with a sword in hand and nowhere to go?

d6 Specialization
1 Death: Either you witnessed the death of someone or were threatened yourself and decided to go instead of deal with the problem.
2 Disaster: Your farm suffered a massive drought and nothing grows anymore, your castel suffered an earthquake that put it in ruins, etc..
3 Bordom: Your life has become too perfect, so you left in the middle of the night without saying anything to anyone to spice things up.
4 Fame: Why live as a peaceful civilian when you can slay dragons, save princesses, and become legend!
5 Poverty: The government failed you and everything you ever owned was taken to pay off their debt. You now have no choice but to scavenge for hope.
6 Random: For the oddest reason you can think of. Your house became a mimic, ale was hard to come by and expensive where you come from, everyone thinks I'm a pervert.

Feature: Empathy[edit]

You lost everything and people who are either on the lawful track or on the good track can't help but feel sorry for you after they hear about your plight and might just give you a little something for your travels or could provide a small service for you like a place to stay or a free beer.

Alternate Feature: Anger[edit]

You are PISSED about losing everything and it's not hard to see that. When you tell thugs and rapscallions about what you've been through they might help you out in more illegal ways than usual the only downside is just that, it's illegal.
