Cursed Energy. Kanshu has 72 cursed energy which he can use to fuel his abilities. All of his cursed energy is replenished when he makes a long rest.

Cursed Energy Recovery. Kanshu regains 1 cursed energy at the beginning of his turns. This cannot go above his maximum.

Curse Resistance. Kanshu has advantage on saving throws against cursed techniques and other cursed effects.

Cursed Attacks. Kanshu's attacks are considered magical.

Invisible Force. The Shikigami is entirely made out of cursed energy, meaning it cannot be seen by normal people. Creatures without levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class or who cannot see into the ethereal plane cannot see it. Although, if these creatures were in a life and death situation (less than half their maximum hit points), they gain the ability to see the Shikigami.

Lightning Energy. Whenever Kanshu deals necrotic damage, he may choose to deal lightning damage instead.

Cursed Strike. Before making a Claw attack, Kanshu may spend up to 6 cursed energy to empower its next strike. This enhancement lasts until it hits a creature with its Claw attack, or until a minute passes. On a hit, it deals additional lightning damage equal to 1d8 per point spent. It can also use this in response to rolling a natural 20 on an attack roll with a Claw attack, instead of beforehand. It can only use this enhancement again after it has ended.

Improved Cursed Energy Output. As apart of any feature which uses cursed energy, Kanshu can expend extra cursed energy on it equal to half of the feature’s original cost to amplify its output. This cannot be used on Cursed Energy Enhancements.

Amplifying a feature this way grants one of the following benefits:

  • The feature’s number of damage dice increases by 2. If the feature does not deal damage dice, it’s damage bonus increases by a quarter of the original amount.
  • The feature’s range increases by 30 feet. This range increase does not work with touch-based techniques.
  • The feature’s bonus to hit is increased by +2
  • The feature’s DC increases by +2
  • The feature’s duration increases 6 rounds.

Cursed Enhancement. Whenever Kanshu uses a damage dealing feature that utilizes cursed energy its damage dice will be increased by one tier,(d6->d8->d10). This feature doesn't apply to Cursed Energy Enhancements.

Keen Hearing and Smell. Kanshu has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Lightning Chain. Whenever Kanshu deals lightning damage to a creature, he can choose for the lightning to jump to another creature within 30 ft. in a chain reaction, dealing 10 lightning damage. A creature can only take this damage once from the same chain.

One of a Kind. Due to the powerful and unique nature of Kanshu, a summoner can only have one version of this Shikigami at a time.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Negating Overlord Kanshu makes one Bite and two Claws attacks or two Lightning Blast attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d10+7) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) lightning damage. If the target is a creature, they must succeed on a DC 21 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d12+7) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) lightning damage.

Lightning Blast. Ranged Cursed Energy Attack: +13 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 40 (6d10+7) lightning damage. If Kanshu rolls a nat 20 with this attack the creature is stunned until the beginning of their next turn.

Curse Absorption (7 Cursed Energy). Kanshu can absorb an ongoing cursed technique effect or cursed energy that he can see within 30 ft. To do so he needs to make a Constitution saving throw. The DC equals 10 + 1/2 Cursed Energy used before reductions. This cannot absorb a Domain Expansion.

Lightning Bolt (10 Cursed Energy). Kanshu fires out a powerful bolt of lightning that strike everything in a line 120 ft. long and 5ft. wide. All creatures in the line must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or take 55 (10d10) lightning damage on a failure, with half on a success.

Command Lightning (20 Cursed Energy). Kanshu conjures a large and powerful lightning to fall from the sky in a point where he can see within 120 ft. All creatures in a circle centered on that point with 40 ft. radius need to make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 130 (20d12) lightning damage, 36 (8d8) thunder damage and are deafened for 1 minute. Creatures affected may repeat the saving throw at the beginning of their turns to end the condition. On a success, they take half as much damage. During lightning storm weather, Kanshu may use this feature as a bonus action.

REACTIONS

Curse Absorption. As a reaction when seeing a cursed technique being used within 30 ft., Kanshu can use his Curse Absorption.

Wing Parry. Kanshu adds 4 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, Kanshu must see the attacker. Additionally, Kanshu may make a Lightning Blast attack at the attacker as a part of the same reaction.

The Negating Overlord Kanshu is a powerful shikigami that resembles a large fox, with sharp claws, feathery wings, a white mane, blue brilliant eyes with no pupils and an equally blue and brilliant symbol of a spiral on his forehead. He has the power to can also conjure and control strong currents of lightning to pulverize his foes as well as negate and absorb abilities techniques originated from cursed energy.

Not Canon The Negating Overlord Kanshu shikigami is not an official shikigami demonstrated in the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise, it was completely made up by the people working behind this supplement. It is intended to populate campaigns in an absence of enough official material, and as such was properly balanced for any DM to use in their Jujutsu Campaign.
